Alley oop!

Our amazing high jump pole setup (all made of plumbing spares, infinitely adjustable, no tools required, so good!) got put to use after work today by me (Mark) and Ali. I pussied out after 48" when I completely forgot how to do simple things like walking then jumping, but Ali got 52", then couldn't quite nail a 54". Hefty.

Orange anyone?

Every now and then Magura come out with a limited edition range - 2010's is orange! Each set of brakes (sold only as a pair of 2-finger blade brakes) comes with a sweet Magura branded Vaude messenger bag, an SKS carbon fibre minipump and a bottle of super tech chain lube from an almost unpronouncable German company. It's worth a lot individually but is available for a bargainous £149. Available now!

Champagne anyone?

Mark and I (Stan) have been pounding the product/photo/website work today as you can probably tell and here are the latest additions!

The Aurem 3 and Manus frames are now available in a new anodised matte Champagne finish. Check out this Spec 1 version we just built, looks pretty sweet and is also good value at £1049.

Well, it's just turned over to a new year. I thought we were going into 2010, but apparently we're going into 2000 again judging from the looks of this bike? Old school! Rides pretty nicely too as a fun trials bike.

Just Because...

We've now got the Because Trial and Because Street frames in stock, with a Because Trial full build to show you tomorrow. It's a seriously nice looking bike with a pretty interesting feel - +70mm BB, longer wheelbase, shorter back end; not your typical twenny-fo.





£249 means they're pretty bargainous too, whether you go for street or trials! As a bonus, our 24" tyre and rim deal means that if you fancy dipping a toe into the 24" market, with that cheap deal and some spokes you're pretty much good to go if you're running a 26"er at present.

Inspired Forks

These forks are awesome. Potentially the most thought-out trials forks made yet? Bold claim, but a pretty accurate one. Disc only fit both 24" and 26" (In fact Ali is currently using a white set on his 26"er), the HS33 only model has mounts that'll only fit 24" wheels. Regardless, super good forks - full info on the site.

TNN Braking System.

It's been here for a bit now, but now there's not an insane rush like there was before Xmas we've been able to add them to the site. Lo and behold, the TNN Braking System. £59, 94g.

Speedrace Fans 26" complete bike.

This bike is awesome. A solid spec at a respectable weight (10.2kg), this is a great performing bike which should be reliable too. Go get it!

Bar info.

Well, just put up the new RockMan bars, and took this opportunity to update the info on our bars. We've now got a new geometry section on our bar pages. There's now a clear, easy to read section with the Width of the bar, from tip to tip, the Upsweep, Backsweep and Total Rise. Typically, bar height is measured from the centre of the bar clamp to the centre of the first bend. However, with upsweep taken into account this isn't necessarily an accurate representation of how the bars will feel. Instead, we now measure our bar height from level with the centre-line of the bar clamp to the centre-line of the tips of the bars. We find this helps out with working out how significantly the bars you buy will affect how your bike rides, and will hopefully make everything a bit clearer.
