Echo Order... Arrived.

Well, it's taken a while, but our Echo order (all 1.38 tons of it) is finally here! We'll be checking it off in the next few days, so if there's anything you're waiting for feel free to set up a stock reminder and our system will fire you an email when it's back in stock.



We also got a 4-pallet Koxx/Try-All order today, which has been unpacked, checked off and (mostly) added to the website. The Sky 2 bikes, freewheels and frame kits have changed spec a little so we're gonna have to build some up and get new photos etc. before they go on the site.

Bits 'n' pieces.

So, another week has passed, and a lot more things have happened! The first Clean jam happened in Bristol this weekend, with Nick Cooke taking first place and earning himself a shiny new frame. Photos of the day are up on the Clean site.



Speaking of things being up on websites - there are plenty of new items that have gone up on the home-page too. Whether you want a sweet new bike, some replacement pedal pins or a new brake booster - there's plenty to see.

New products, new media!

So - a lot's happened since TartyDays (click that link to view some official photos, or click here to view some very unofficial photos), as you can probably tell by checking out the homepage. We've now got some team edition Hope products back in stock, as well as a few new bits and pieces from other manufacturers.

Whilst at TartyDays, Ali had a bit of a mishap with an 11ft drop resulting in a suspected broken foot. To try and combat non-riding-related boredom, Ali went to a quarry in deepest darkest Yorkshire with Stan and Mark and pioneered some natural crutch trials:



Stan and Mark also recently headed down to Bristol and filmed a little video with Ben Rowlands - the usual smooth, flowy lines you'd expect from Stan with some streety moves from Mark, Ben, John Shrewsbury and Bristol-local Dave Wells.



As a bit of non-TartyBikes-related inspiration, here's a cool video of all-round legend Chris Akrigg doing some super nice moves at some local spots, followed by a pretty savage crash. Get well soon, Chris!

2011 Onza bikes

We're due to receive our first drop of the new Onza 2011 bikes tomorrow, including the Onza Bird 2011, the Onza Ska 2011 and the Onza Rip 2011. Full details are up on the site here, here and here, and we should have some updated photos next week too.

Two noteworthy things from TribalZine today - firstly, a little Q&A with Mark about Section 01, but also this awesome K-124 Days video. We're all very keen on this, so pull up a chair and make yourself comfy...

Fresh produce...

We've got some new bits and pieces on the website, and hopefully by the end of the week we should have even more.

First up, the much talked-about MilkyWay Gummy Bashrings. A fairly new, innovative concept in a usually plain, unremarkable section of the market, the Gummy uses a trio of elastomers to try and reduce the impact of landing on your bash on objects instead of transferring that force straight into your cranks/BB/frame. We've also got a small drop of the FiveTen Baron shoe, featuring the revised Stealth Sole. Top riders like Ali C and Danny Mac swear by their Five Tens, as do other riders from different disciplines such as multiple downhill world champion Sam Hill. Pretty good pedigree! Tech tip...

We've had a few e-mails/calls about this problem, and here's our solution to it - if you've found it tricky removing an axle bolt from a hub before, here's a pretty simple way to do it.

Jack Carthy: Pretty good.

Adam took a trip up to Brimham Rocks for the 1st round of the British Trials Cup, and spent a bit of time filming team rider Jack Carthy aboard his new Koxx Sky 2 (which should be back in stock soon, hopefully). This video's the result. If this is a sign of things to come for the comps for the rest of the year it should be pretty interesting!
