Stan's new Kloud

Stan's built himself a sweet new Koxx Kloud custom build.  It's got a whole host of sweet Trialtech and Stan Titanium parts on there, giving it a total weight of 9.22kg.  Not bad, not bad...

...and here's a video of Stan getting to grips with his bike in our latest indoor riding area setup!

Shiny and new!

Stan's got himself a pretty sweet new setup courtesy of his latest sponsors Stan, and in part due to a shiny new CNC-machined 2005-style brake lever he received today.  Once we've given it a bit of a test here we'll hopefully have them available on the site!

Stan's brake uses a selection of Stan Barbed Fittings, Shroud Nuts and M5/M6 bolts, an '04/'05 Pivot Bolt , a Trialtech Sport Splitter and some TNN ADM pads.

New Trialtech blog

The guys (and gal!) over at Trialtech have got themselves a shiny new blog to keep everyone up to date with their products and team riders - you can view it over at Trialtech.co.uk/Blog.

So far there's an interesting interview with Kenny Belaey, some sweet photos of Rick Koekoek and a bit of a write-up about their new team rider, Flipp.  Plenty to get amongst with more updates planned - get clicking!

New Flipp videos

Thanks to the recent deadline extension for the GETcreative comp, team rider Flipp decided to use up the footage he had saved up so far to then whip up a new video nearer the GET deadline.  Fortunately for us, that means we get a couple of new videos!  First up is the 'main feature' video - Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head:

There's also an accompanying crashes/extras video which contains some ridiculous riding too, as well as some trademark Flipp crashes (for more of those, click here...):

The other big news from Flipp today is the announcement of his sponsorship by none other than Trialtech, as well as up-and-coming frame builders JAF Bikes.  Here's a quick photo of Flipp's latest setup, featuring some top drawer Sport and SL parts from Trialtech, as well as his new custom frame from JAF.

If you'd like to see yet more of Flipp, you can click this link to check out his new gallery on the Trialtech site which includes photos like this serious business sidehop to rail:

New van, new video, new wallpaper

So - we now have a sweet new van to go on trips in (no more squeezing people into cars, yay).  We decided to try it out last night with a cruise to Liverpool after work, and here are some clips from the ride.  It was Adam's first ride on his Inspired Fourplay build, and Stan's first ride with the new TNN Blacks.

Adam also took a photo of me doing a hop over a rail into a bank in the car park, and we've now uploaded it as a wallpaper (click here for the full size version!) for anyone looking to freshen their computer up a little!

EDIT:  As a last minute update, a quick congratulations to Flipp for getting a First for his degree.  Nice work dude!

Trialtech carbon bars

Q:  What do orange Tango and Trialtech SL Carbon Risers have in common?

A:  According to Stan, they're both "really nice."  (Inside joke alert)

In all seriousness, these bars are pimp.  Not only are they the lightest out there (205.9g - pretty light!), but they're also some of the stiffest available too thanks to their unique shape.  Couple that up with a nice matte finish and you've got a beltin' pair of bars.  In case you've got any doubts about them, you can rest assured knowing they've been tested by top riders like Kenny Belaey, Rick Koekoek, Stan and Cap.

Titanium goodness...

Trialtech's Ti bolts are always a thing of beauty, and they've now revised their bolts to make them even nicer!  The M6 x 25s in particular are pretty sweet - cool detailing on the bolt head, and even a little recess on the tip of the bolt that helps drop a touch more weight too.  They're now 0.1g lighter than previously which, although it doesn't sound like much of a difference, is pretty good going on a bolt that weighs 3.1g in total...

2011 Trialtech products...

Bit of a change from the Echo theme recently - Trialtech have some new bits available (as well as some popular old ones such as the 4-Bolt 26" forks back in stock), including the new Sport Splitter and Sport Bashring. Stan's been testing out the splitter for over a year to good effect, and Mark's been bashing as usual to try out the new bashring - both are still working well.
