Moving on, some new products!
We first got in touch with Jitsie earlier in 2012 and they mentioned they were working with some top name riders such as Kenny Belaey and Jack Carthy to develop some biketrials-specific riding gear. After 2 years of R&D, the Airtime range is now available to buy! This is comprised of the Airtime Gloves, Airtime Jersey and the Airtime Shorts.
We've also got some of the Jitsie 'casual' range in stock, as well as the Radikal gloves. If you'd like to check out our full line of Jitsie gear, check out our site here!
As a little bit of breaking news, we've just heard word that Koxx are joining forces with Jitsie for 2013 to create a "Koxx by Jitsie" range. This should be interesting! Click here for more info.
Having some pimp gear to ride in is one thing, but without a bike you're going to be in trouble - if you need to build yourself up a new 20" or 26" bike, the new GU 2013 frames are worth a look. Featuring some pretty new-school UCI-inspired geometry with some great, functional design - including Echo's press-fit 'Spanish' BB and integrated tensioners - and some sweet finishes!
Echo have updated their Pure frame for 2013 too. Nice, simple design at only £299 including the Urban ISIS BB!
Echo's long-running stem line has been updated too, giving us the Echo TR 2013 stem which now features a sloping top cap design - it's also supplied with the matching top cap and a bolt. Ideal.
Their superlight SL cranks have also been on a diet, creating the brand new Echo SL 2013 cranks. At 384g (175mm length), they're around 60g lighter than their nearest competitor and lighter than several of the ISIS BBs we sell!
They're also available in Silver for the more conservative riders out there!
While we're talking about lightweight parts, RockMan have joined Try-All in offering a light 26" Carbon Fork. The feature a slightly thicker steerer with extended insert, plus alloy inserts at the 4-bolt mounts and dropouts. They also use a tech version of expanding foam around the inside of the legs to improve strength whilst also reducing noise. 634g is not much for a pair of forks...
Still maintaining that theme, the Koxx Kloud 20" Frame is now out. A well thought-out frame design with some sweet graphics and good geo - always a nice combo. Stay tuned to find out which of our team riders has built themselves up a 26" Kloud frame for 2013 too...
...and I think that's enough for now! We all hope you've had a good new year so far, and go on to have a great 2013.
