Videos...

Some video news to kick off the week!

Firstly, Joe Maher has a new video up, riding the Radical Bikes indoor setup.  Drop those guys a line if you want to ride there.  £3.50 to ride, get in touch first to arrange it - too easy.

Secondly, the results for the GETcreative comp are now in!

In Sponsored, Sean Watson took the win, with Nick Cooke in second and our very own Ali C in 3rd.  You can check out Ali's entry here, and see Sean's entry here:

In Novice, Jonathan Tollerud got 1st place, with Rob Harris second and Sam Nichols third.  Jon's video was a cool mix of traditional and streety trials, all on a nice looking Ashton build.

Congratulations to everyone involved, and especially to Ben Rowlands for pulling it all off.

The new BBB Varallo

Helmets are a pretty key safety item, and a good-fitting helmet is crucial.  However, if you're on a tighter budget it can be tricky finding a quality helmet that feels good to wear.  Fortunately, Dutch brand BBB have created their Varallo helmet, a mid-range helmet with some top-of-the-range features!  We were all impressed with the great feel of the helmet, aided by a fantastic EasyTwist retention system.  For more information, feel free to check out the website.

Win win win!

If you fancy a set of Trialtech SL Carbon Bars - who wouldn't?! - then head over to Trialtech's blog for details about how to win a free set of bars signed by Kenny Belaey!

New Adam Morewood video!

Adam Morewood has just picked up a sponsorship with Onza, and as part of that deal he's currently testing the brand new Genesis XS bike.  On his first ride on his new bike at Matlock Quarry, Adam filmed a little video - and here it is!

New James Hyland video

Team rider James Hyland has been doing a spot of travelling over the summer to go ride some of the best spots in Europe, and this video is the result!  Some pretty serious moves.

New pedals, new deals...

So - these are a bit nice...

The new Hope F20 pedals are as pimp as you'd expect from those guys in Barnoldswick.  A body fully CNC machined from a billet of 2014 T6 alloy with a heat-treated Cr-mo axle, combined with 3 sealed bearings and Norglide bushings in each pedal, make them as tough as they are nice.  All good!

We've also got a new weekend discount code - ideal for those cold nights...

Stan's Echo Pure SL

Stan has some shiny new bits on his bike, including the new K2 Forged Stem and TNN ADM pads, so we thought we'd grab a quick photo of his bike - fresh from winning the Elite category (and 3rd overall for the season) at the last round of the British Trials Cup last weekend.  Genuinely Shipley mud on show...

More new bits!

Continuing the 'New stuff' theme, we've got the latest Try-All K2/NoWar products in stock.  These include the new K2 Forged Stem, K2 Rear Hub and Single Cage Titanium Pedals.

The K2 Forged Stem is available in the ever-popular 150mm size (with 32° rise) which is pretty much spot-on for most 20" bikes, as well as the latest generation of high BB 24" and 26" bikes.  The main draw of the new stem is the different bar clamp system which features two split-rings that clamp your bars.  The advantage of this is much easier installation for higher rise bars which previously required having to splay open the clamping part of the 3D Forged stem.  This new system gives a nice, wide clamping area and makes putting your bars on easier - all good.

The K2 Rear Hub is an evolution of the previous 'H'116 hub, this time featuring great quality bearings and a slotted hub shell to save weight.

And lastly, the Single Cage Titanium Pedals - some of the lightest pedals out there.

Fast times...

Mondays are usually our busiest day as we catch up with weekend orders and e-mails, and it got a lot busier when we received a selection of new parts too!  First up, we've got the brand new TNN Engineering ADMs, TNN Engineering ADVs and TNN Engineering AD Refills.

These pads are named after Andrew Dickey, who you may have seen in  his Black Bike and Elemental videos:

They were tested with Andrew and many other of TNN's team, including our very own Cap, Stan Shaw and Joe Maher.  You can see Joe putting his through their paces in his recent GETcreative video entry:

New team video & Facebook page!

We like to try and mix up our indoor riding spot from time to time, so when we got offered some spare railway sleepers we couldn't say no!  Once we'd got them into the warehouse (and dried them out a little - wet sleepers are no fun) Ali C, Cap and Matt Arkwright decided to have a little play on the new setup after work one night.  You can watch the video below, or alternatively head over to our updated Facebook Page to check it out (while you're there, Like our page to get updated whenever any new special offers or discount codes are available for the shop!).

Hexcellent new Inspired products

Yep, went there with that post title.  Not scared.

Inspired released their latest models in their 26" range on Friday, including the Inspired Hex Team 2013 Complete Bike, Inspired Hex Pro 2013 Complete Bike and the Inspired Hex 2013 Frame.  The frame features a slight tweak to the geo with a 10mm longer front end.  This is then offset on the complete bikes by using forks with 5mm less offset and a slightly steeper (90x35) stem to keep your hands and feet in the same position relative to each other, but with a slightly more responsive front end.  Ideal.

The Inspired Hex Team 2013 Complete Bike:

New Try-All products

Last week we received our latest Try-All order, featuring a couple of new bits 'n' bobs:

The K2 Front and K2 Rear 26" rims are the latest models to be released and are preeeetty light.  The rear is 568g, which is roughly 40g lighter than the next lightest rim.  Not bad, not bad.

Try-All's 2013 ISIS Alloys Crank Bolts also fall into the 'preeeetty light' category, weighing in at a measly 12.0g.

Lastly, the ever-popular Try-All Foam grips are now available with new graphics and a slightly different size.
