Well, just put up the new RockMan bars, and took this opportunity to update the info on our bars. We've now got a new geometry section on our bar pages. There's now a clear, easy to read section with the Width of the bar, from tip to tip, the Upsweep, Backsweep and Total Rise. Typically, bar height is measured from the centre of the bar clamp to the centre of the first bend. However, with upsweep taken into account this isn't necessarily an accurate representation of how the bars will feel. Instead, we now measure our bar height from level with the centre-line of the bar clamp to the centre-line of the tips of the bars. We find this helps out with working out how significantly the bars you buy will affect how your bike rides, and will hopefully make everything a bit clearer.
