More blue pads...
Another pair of new brake pads - blue seems to be a theme! This time it's from Dutch-based BBB, the Tie Fighter pads.
Their new shape 'grips' the cylinder much better than the standard design, which in turn should help reduce pad roll. Super soft compound makes them ideal for smooth rims.

New, from Hope...
After many years using the same compound, Hope are now offering a softer 'Pro' compound as well as their 'Standard' pads.
The Pro pads have been developed in conjunction with some of the top riders and brands in the trials world and offer slightly improved performance at the expense of a slightly reduced wear life. Adam's got a set on his uber-light mod too, and so far so good!

Treats...
If you end up heading down to the Street Light Session this weekend, you may be able to pick yourself up one of these cards...
And yes, choosing business card finishes and colours did remind me a lot of American Psycho.
See you down there!

Cap's new video...
When he's not here at work, being a 'Big Lad', climbing, doing skids and wheelies for money, playing on his PS3 or eating, Cap likes nothing more than to boot some big gaps (sometimes to wheels, sometimes to downtube - he's not picky). This is his latest video with Matt "No bones" Arkwright featuring a selection of spots around Preston and Cleveleys.

Red Bull Street Light Sessions
Here's a bit more info about the up-coming Red Bull Street Light Sessions:
"In a bid to give wiiings to the British trials bike community, Danny MacAskill, Martyn Ashton and Red Bull have been working tirelessly on the final preparations and adjustments to the Street Light setup, before it’s in Bristol on Saturday 17th September for the first of two Red Bull Street Light Sessions.
Danny has recently returned from Eurobike and is looking forward to getting back out riding in the UK . “It is really exciting for me to be back riding in the UK after a year of traveling, and the Red Bull Streetlight Sessions are a great way for me to catch up with the Trials scene over here. I am confident the riding setups we will be bringing to these cool locations will be well received, Red Bull know how to throw an event so come down and check it out!!”
Both Bristol and Manchester events will open their doors at 5pm, where up to 500 spectators will be able to watch the crème of the global trials scene in action, with a selected number being given the opportunity to ride the course alongside Danny or partake in a ‘Street Light Taster Session’. The events will run into the evening, gradually becoming illuminated under city lights, before coming to a close at 10pm.
Red Bull and Inspired Bicycles will run three, hour long ‘Street Light Taster Sessions’ in both Manchester and Bristol, offering a limited number of ‘street trials’ first timers a shot at the sport in a safe, progressive environment. Sign up at Redbull.co.uk/Streetlight to be in with your chance of securing a place.
Experienced Trials riders and those keen to spectate need simply turn up on the day. Danny, Martyn and Red Bull look forward to seeing you there!
