Titanium goodness..

As you may of noticed, Echo are now producing some very nice parts in Titanium and here are a few more additions.

Ti Snail Cams, the nicest snail cams around?

Echo Cage Pedals with Titanium axles and bolts. The lightest Trials pedals on the market and by some way too!

Finally, not so much titanium, just a very pimp and well thought out lever to fit HS33 brakes.

Super light Try-All tyres!

Finally! We've now got these beauts in stock - weights are 969g (26" rear), 514g (26" front) and 888g (19").

Links: 26" rear, 26" front, 19".

Special Offers

We've had our Special Offers section going for a while now, but there are now over 70 items on offer and some great bargains to be had while stocks last.

Check them out here!

Tarty Days.

There's been some info on Trials-Forum about it, but the registration for the Tarty Days event in North Wales is now open.

Born bars

Born's new carbon fibre risers are out. They're... er... "inspired" by another bar out there, but fractionally narrower. Available in red, yellow and (not available yet) white.

New French rubber (Pt.1)

Pt.1? Yeah, well, got the new Try-All tyres in too so they'll be up imminently. In the mean time, Michelin have a couple of new tyres that we reckon would go pretty well on a stock - the Wild Rock'r 2.4" rear and the Wild Grip'r 2.1" front. Good compound, pretty light, good reviews from riders using them so far - check 'em!

DOB 2010 rims

Want some light rims?

Look no further.

20", 19", 26" front and 26" rear.

'New' Rockman products.

We're gradually updating the site with all the 'new' and new Rockman parts we've now got in stock, including their 'new' rims, stems and pedals as well as their actually new Tractor frames. Hit up the home page to check them out.

Clip of the Week #6

We kinda forgot to do one last week, oops, so here's our latest one...

Gav's Second Modelling Photoshoot

There are no words...

PS: Stress boobs, highly recommended.

26" Holy Rollers

The 24" Holy Rollers are one of our most popular 24" tyres - and with good reason. Super grippy, great profile, great impact absorption, which are 3 good characteristics for your tyres to have. For that reason they found themselves on the wheels of Danny Mac's bike and indeed the bikes of all the 24" riders here at TartyBikes. Not wanting to miss out, Ali C wanted to have a pop at the 26" versions, so we've now got some in stock. Ali's initial impressions of the 26's are as favourable as our's of the 24's. Available for the same price and in the same 2.4" width, the 26" Holy Rollers are available now.

Season Update: Adam Morewood

Adam Morewood is one of our newest team members and also our youngest rider at only 8yrs old. Here is a quick update on his busy season so far. He has attended 5 competitions:

Huddersfield Falcons Round 1 - 4th (Hard Route)
Huddersfield Falcons Round 2 - 1st (Middle Route)

TykeTrial Round 1 - 1st (Green Route)
TykeTrial Round 2 - 1st (Green Route)

Biketrial UK Nationals Round 1 - 1st (Green Route)

Adam is now off to the European Cup in Italy on Friday so we wish him all the best from the TartyBikes Team.

New Onza/Tensile bits.

Couple of new items up on the site today, the 2010 Blade frame, 2010 Comp frame and some new Tensile bars.

Stan's new video

We've been filming here and there with Stan for a couple of weekends now, and with a change of frame Stan's decided to put this little edit out so he's not mixing up footage on different frames. All Echo, all brakeless, all good.

"I'm a male model, not a male prostitute"

Yep, direct Handsome Boy Modeling School quote steal in the title. If you've not heard them before, hear them now!

Anyways, we now have some pretty swish Koxx Jackets on the go. Riding tested by Adam, dog-walking tested by Claire. Gav is the spruce and dapper model lurking within the coat - here's a few out-takes.

Classy.

COTW...

It's #"Tartybikes Video Clip Of The Weeeeeeeek"# time, this time featuring me (Mark) on my black Echo setup. Scrap footage: Re-housed.

Brown and Purple Inspired Brakeless-ness.

I (Stan) have a lovely new frame thanks to guys at Inspired Bicycles. Thanks to Ads for the pictures.

Brakelessness! Stan & Mark at Lee Mill Quarry...

Hope you enjoy watching it as much as we did filming/editing/riding for it!

Onza 2010 bikes...

...are now here. If you've pre-ordered, they'll hopefully be going out the door either today or tomorrow.

Clip Of The Week 4!

New 'un up now, Ali C dominating Rowan's manny challenge on the recent Inspired roadtrip.

Bonus TV Burp style intro too courtesy of Adam.

Baller status.

If you were from OTN, then you might describe these wheels as 'baller'. If you're from Yorkshire, you might describe them as 'reet nice'. Either way, a new front and rear wheel are up on the site.

Options...

If you've got a Monty 205, Onza Mini-Master (well, you won't have one yet, but that's not the point...) or a Koxx Microsky or something along those lines, you might have noticed that getting a replacement 16" or 18" tyre for them isn't all that easy. Well, not any more!

Monty 16" tyres and Monty 18" tyres are now available.

Clip Of The Week #4 up in a few...

Hopefully you'll like these?

I Hope you'll be into these new T's from Hope that we've got in...

A completely FANStastic frame deal.

I'll get me coat...

TartyBikes products.

We've had these in the pipeline for a few months now - now, they're available to buy!

First up, the new TartyBikes Multi Tool - tested out for months in our workshop by spanner monkey Ali C, with 10 high quality tools in one neat little package.

Secondly, an Adam-designed CNC, no frills bashring designed to fit on almost any setup possible due to it's built-in freewheel lip and generous front cut-out. Stan has been testing this on his Echo 24 or the past few months and has certainly put it through it's paces (as he's a massive basher). Mark's also got one on his 24 now, but they're equally at home on mods and stocks too!

Lastly, a set of very competitively priced 6061 riser bars - popular and comfy 9°x9° up/backsweep, with 85mm of total rise, and a 710mm width. These come in at just under £30, which means they fall into the 'bargainous' category. Such a thing does exist.

Clip of the week 3!
